Which islands in Andamans can a foreigner visit without a permit?

To visit the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, citizens of Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, and foreign nationals with origins in these nations will still need a restricted area permit. In these situations, the Ministry of Home Affairs' prior approval would be required before the Restricted Area Permit (RAP) may be issued. Under the applicable provisions of the Foreigners Act, 1946, appropriate legal action would be taken against any such national found entering these Islands without the Restricted Area Permit.

Only after acquiring a Tribal Pass from the Deputy Commissioners of the South Andaman, North & Middle Andaman, and Nicobar are visits to tribal areas allowed. The Chief Wild Life Warden, A & N Islands, and the Ministry's rules govern the limits that apply to visits to the forest regions.
