A short and comprehensive tour of the city of Port Blair, taking to the most prominent attraction within a short period of time. You will be received from the pick-up point of your desire and first up you will be taken to the Fisheries museum, explore one of the finest aquarium of the city before heading to the Cellular Jail Museum. The tour ends with a light and sound show at the Cellular Jail. You may go for a short shopping tour in the city before being dropped off at your hotel/pick-up point.
You will be received by the chauffeur/driver from your desired pick-up point as per the time selected by you.
Post pick-up you will be undergoing a short briefing session by the driver.
The first stop of the day will be the Fisheries Museum which is under the administration of Directorate of Fisheries. It is a life sized aquarium displaying the plethora of fishes and coral which native to the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean.
Post the museum tour you will be heading to the most famous attraction of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the Cellular Jail. Now converted to a museum displaying the Indian freedom struggle, the British Raj began its construction in the year of 1896 and the completion took almost 10 years. It took almost INR 5,17,252 during those times to complete the construction.
Now the Cellular Jail hosts a museum with artefacts which provides history lessons on the Indian Revolutionaries, sone of the prominent ones being Veer Savarkar and Barindra Kumar Ghosh. It may take about 1.5 hours to explore the Cellular Jail Museum.
Next up you will be heading to the Corbyn's Cove Beach which is famous for its watersports and sunsets and is located almost 7 KM from the Port Blair city. You may take a leisurely walk at the beach and spend a calm evening.
On the way to Corbyn's Beach you will also be visiting the Flag Point.
Next up you will be heading for the Light and Sound show at the Cellular Jail, you shall witness the vivid history of the Indian Free Movement for about an hour.
Post the Cellular Jail Light and Sound Show is complete you may go for a shopping tour in the city.
The trip ends with a drop at the hotel/pick-up point where you were received from.
