This trip begins from your hotel as you will be received on an air-conditioned car in company of a driver/guide. The journey to the Jolly Buoy or Red Skin Island both begin from the Wandoor Jetty in Port Blair. The jetty is nearly 20-30 minutes by road from the Port Blair city centre. Once at the jetty one can board a shared air-conditioned boat for the journey to the Jolly Buoy Island which takes nearly 404-5 minutes on sea. The Jolly Buoy and Red Skin Island which are a part of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park are famous for the shining golden sand beaches and crystal clear waters with a colourful underwater environs.
Post completion of the Jolly Buoy Island tour you return back to the city of Port Blair and visit the Wandoor Beach which is a clean and pristine beach meant for strolling. Next and the last stop of the day would be the Chidiyatapu Beach which is a tourist favourite for watching the sundowners, the hues of orange will enchant your eyes.
Note: As a part of the protection and conservation of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park, Jolly Buoy and Red Skin Island remain alternatively open throughout the year. In case of closure of the Jolly Buoy Island the trip will automatically be updated to the equally scenic Red Skin Island.
You will be received from the lobby of your hotel as per the time slot selected by you; 6:30 AM.
Post a short meet and greet you will be undergoing a briefing session by the driver/guide.
Hop on the air-conditioned car and be driven to the Wandoor Jetty which is approximately 20-30 minutes by road from the city centre of Port Blair.
On arrival at the Wandoor Jetty you will be handed over the tickets for the shared boat ride and the permit to enter the Jolly Buoy Island by the driver/guide.
The journey from the Wandoor Jetty to the Jolly Buoy Island takes around 40-45 minutes on sea as you get to witness the colours of the majestic Bay of Bengal.
Explore the Jolly Buoy Island by spending ample amount of time and once your boat is ready to depart be on-board for a journey back to Port Blair at around 2:00 PM.
Once in Port Blair you may take a break for lunch and then visit the Wandoor Beach which a peaceful retreat in the Port Blair city.
Last stop of the day will be the Chidiyatapu Beach which is quite famous for its sunsets, spend a leisurely hour at the beach and watch the sun go down in the Bay of Bengal.
Post completion of the tour you will be driven back to the hotel in Port Blair, thus bringing the tour to an end.
