This trip starts from your hotel as you will be received from the lobby and will be taken to the wild environs of the Jolly Buoy Island on an air-conditioned boat. Due to the recent efforts of the Andamans Administration the boats to the Jolly Buoy Island are eco-friendly and travel without causing any harm to the natural ecosystem of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. The journey by the shared air-conditioned boat to the island begins from the Wandoor Jetty and takes nearly 40-45 minutes to reach Jolly Buoy. Once you arrive at the island your eyes will glimmer by the glance of the bright sandy beaches and clear waters which exhibit a plethora of corals. You will be having enough time to explore the island and at the end you will be dropped back to Port Blair on the same shared boat for a journey back to your hotel.
Note: Jolly Buoy Island remains open for visitors only during the half of the period of every year, such measures have been taken in order to maintain the fragile ecosystem of the Mahatma Gandhi National Park. While Jolly Buoy Island closes visitors can take full advantage of the serene environs by taking a tour of the Red Skin Island, which is just adjacent to the Jolly Buoy Island and is equally scenic and a part of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park.

Post a short meet and greet and a briefing session you shall begin your journey to the Wandoor Jetty, it might take around 20-30 minutes to reach the jetty.
At the Wandoor Jetty you will be boarding an air-conditioned shared boat to the Jolly Buoy Island. The journey from Wandoor Jetty to Jolly Buoy Island takes around 40-45 minutes on sea.
Your permits and boat tickets will be arranged by the driver cum guide as you hop on the boat.
Post arrival at the island explore the green spaces of the island and witness the crystal clear waters.
Spend ample amount of time at the island before returning back on the same shared boat to Port Blair.
At Port Blair your car awaits you for a drop back to the hotel, thus bringing the tour to an end.
