This trip starts from your hotel as you are welcomed for a journey to the Wandoor Jetty. From the jetty you board an air-conditioned boat to Jolly Buoy Island. Both Jolly Buoy and Red Skin Island are the twin islands situated in the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park and alternatively remain open throughout the year. The journey by boat to both Jolly Buoy and Red Skin takes about 40-45 minutes, the boats these are on shared basis and are fully air-conditioned.
Explore the island and witness its clear waters along with the golden sand beach. Once the tour is complete you will be returning back to Port Blair and you may spend some relaxation time at the Wandoor Beach and have some light snacks. Post completion of the day's tour you will be dropped back at your hotel.
Note: Jolly Buoy and Red Skin remain open for tourist for 6 months each. This is done to protect the tranquil and fragile environs of the National Park. Incase of closure of Jolly Buoy the trip will automatically be updated to Red Skin Island.
You will be received from your hotel's lobby as per the time slot selected.
Post a short meet and greet, you will be undergoing a briefing session by the driver/guide.
You will then be driven to the Wandoor Jetty on an air-conditioned car and it takes nearly 20-30 minutes to reach the jetty from the city center.
Once at the jetty you will be handed over the tickets to the shared boat and the permits to enter the Jolly Buoy Island by the driver.
Board the comfortable air-conditioned boat and head on to the Jolly Buoy Island, it takes around 40-45 minutes to reach the island.
The island is a beautiful patch of land with crystal clear beaches and colorful underwaters.
Upon spending some time at the island you will be returning back to Port Blair at around 2:00 PM in the afternoon on the same shared boat.
Once back in Port Blair you may take a lunch break before visiting the Wandoor Beach.
Spend a relaxation period in the beach before being dropped back to the hotel in Port Blair, which marks the end to your trip.
