One of the most blissful tours in Port Blair, taking you from the Western shores to the Southern corners which are a stone's throw away from the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. In this tour you shall be received from the hotel/desired location and will be driven to the west of Port Blair, to Wandoor Beach. The beach is known for its low tides and endless stretch of golden sand, it is the gateway to the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. One can easily go on to explore the Jolly Buoy and Red Skin Islands from the Wandoor Jetty. Once you have spent some time at the Wandoor Beach head on to the southern most tip of Port Blair, you shall be visiting the Chidiyatapu Beach along with the Munda Pahad Beach. Chidiyatapu is a mangrove dotted beach which is inhabited by several species of birds hence the name, if luck favours you may witness a few. While Munda Pahad Beach is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in and around Port Blair and mesmerizes the visitors with the hues of the evening sky as the sun goes down. Once the 5 hours tour is complete, you shall be dropped back to Port Blair city where your tour began from.
You will be received from your hotel/desired address in Port Blair city limits as per your preferred time slot.
On pick-up you shall undergo a short briefing session.
You will be driven almost 30 kilometers towards the western side of Port Blair to your first destination of the day, Wandoor Beach.
As you approach the beach you will witness a very calm ocean and gentle waves.
This beach is primarily known for its jetty and endless stretch of golden sand.
At the entrance of the National Park you would find the Marine Interpretation Centre and the same can be visited if willing.
Once you have spent an hour or two, head on to the Chidiyatapu Beach and the drive will be around 30-35 minutes.
Chidiyatapu will be a treat to your eyes as you witness rich mangrove forests and if luck favors a plethora of birds' species. Spend some time at this ecological retreat before heading to the Munda Pahad Beach.
The Munda Pahad Beach is to be visited as we approach the sunset hours, this will enhance your experience letting you to witness one of the most beautiful sunsets in the islands.
Spend a total of 1.5 hours at both the attractions before heading back to Port Blair.
The trip ends with a drop at Port Blair.
